Terms and Conditions

Summary: Elaia is an AI study platform. We offer a free plan (Ágora) and paid plans (Academia, Liceo, Olimpo). You can cancel at any time. Your data is protected under the GDPR.

Elaia generates tests, flashcards and summaries from your PDFs using artificial intelligence. It includes spaced repetition with adaptive algorithms.

3. Plans and Prices

Pages are permanent: once processed, the material remains available for as long as you keep your subscription active. Prices include VAT.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or remove plans, including the free plan, with 30 days' notice by email.

4. Pages

Pages represent the volume of content you can process. The system counts the pages of each PDF you upload. Ágora pages are permanent and do not expire. In paid plans, pages are the total limit available.

5. Payments and Refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your profile; you will keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Right of withdrawal: You have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. However, in accordance with article 103(m) of the Spanish consumer protection act (TRLGDCU), this right does not apply once you have actively started using the service (processing PDFs). By using the service, you acknowledge that you are requesting its immediate performance.

If you have not processed any document within 14 days, you can request a full refund at elaia@elaiapp.com.

The Ágora plan is free and can be used indefinitely. If you wish to delete your account and data, you can do so from your profile or by contacting us at elaia@elaiapp.com.

Non-payment: If a payment fails, you will have a 7-day grace period with access to your existing material, but you will not be able to process new documents. After this period, access will be suspended until the payment is settled.

6. Your Content

You keep all rights to your PDFs. You grant us a license to process them solely to provide the service to you. The generated material is for your personal use.

7. AI-Generated Content

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), we inform you that the study material (tests, flashcards, summaries, mind maps) is generated automatically by artificial intelligence systems. This system does not carry out assessments that affect the user's legal rights, access to education or administrative decisions.

Elaia acts as a technical processor of the content provided. We do not acquire rights to the uploaded documents or to the generated material, which belongs to the User for personal use.

If we are notified of a possible copyright infringement, we may suspend access to the affected content.

Elaia is for people aged 16 and over. By using Elaia you agree to:

10. Limitations

Elaia is a study support tool. We do not guarantee exam results or that the generated material is 100% accurate. Maximum liability: the amount paid in the last 12 months.

The service may experience temporary interruptions due to maintenance, updates or technical causes beyond our control.

11. Privacy

We process your data in accordance with the GDPR. Details in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may modify these terms with 30 days' notice by email.

13. Dispute Resolution
